ABOUT THE FESTIVAL

Welcome to Country Roads Music Festival, where great music meets the great outdoors. Experience three days of live country music, camping, and unforgettable memories at The Groves of Michigan Campground in Brooklyn, Michigan.

Unlike large-scale festivals, Country Roads keeps things intimate and affordable—so you can enjoy top-tier performances, BYOB perks, and a vibrant community vibe without breaking the bank.

THE LOCATION

The main entrance to the Groves of Michigan Campground is on US Highway 12 just west of Michigan International Speedway. The festival area sits directly across from MIS’s grandstands on Brooklyn Highway. The property offers 200+ acres of natural beauty, with lush fields, wooded campsites, and cozy festival grounds.

CAMPING & ACCOMMODATIONS

Skip the hotel—camp under the stars with fellow country music fans!

Camping Options:

  • Main Campground (Electric Sites) – Spacious sites, some access to water hookups
  • North Country (Rustic Sites) – Closest to the festival action for both RVs and Car/Tent Campers. This area does not have water or electric at the sites
  • South Country (Rustic Sites) – Scenic, rolling fields, slightly further from the stage. These sites are for both RVs and Car/Tent Camping with no water or electric and will be added to ticketing as North Country sites fill up
  • Rustic Cabin & Tent Rentals: Just a short walk from the festival area. Rentals sleep from 2-8 people and are in dedicated areas with private porta-potties & community hang outs with firepits, grills, and picnic tables

Camping Check-in Times: 

Regular Entry: Friday 9 AM for all tent sites (Car/Tent sites and Tent Rentals) (Limited early access passes for tent sites available)

Early Entry: Thursday 4 PM – 10 PM for all RV sites (electric and rustic) & Cabin Rentals

TICKET OPTIONS

3-Day Passes – Available soon! Includes access for campers and commuters to all performances & festival activities.

Single-Day Passes – Available June 1st (if space allows).

Commuter Parking Passes – Daily parking available for commuters (must exit by midnight). Entry for commuters is 11:00 each day.

VIP Options: Premium viewing areas & VIP parking may be added closer to the event.

The Country Roads Music Festival is more than great country music – it is a time to relax, spend time making memories with your friends and family and just have a damn good time!

Drinks: Feel free to join us in the beer/wine/drink tent for a cool one, or maybe do a special sampling, but you can also bring your own alcohol even into the festival area! BYOB Policy: cans only—no glass or kegs.

Food Vendors: A mix of local favorites & festival classics.

Bonfire Gatherings: Acoustic music & late-night hangs.

Other Fun Activities: Multi-day corn hole tournament, 3K walk/run Saturday and Sunday, Country Roads of Michigan Photo Contest (details coming soon) and more…

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

TICKETS & ENTRY

How do I get my tickets?

Tickets will be sent via email at the time of purchase and again a few days before the event. Upon arrival, your ticket will be scanned, and you will receive a wristband.

Can I transfer my ticket?

Yes, tickets can be transferred through the festival ticket platform by updating the email assigned to the ticket – see your confirmation email for link to ticketing platform.

What is the wristband policy?

Wristbands will be issued at check-in and must be worn at all times. They are non-transferable and cannot be removed or shared. Anyone caught sharing a wristband will be removed from the festival

PARKING

Is there commuter parking?

Yes, commuter parking will be available near the entrance and will be open from 11:00 am to midnight. It is a 15-20 minute walk to the festival area. During peak hours, a shuttle service will be available. No overnight parking in commuter lot.

Will there be VIP parking?

VIP parking may be available closer to the festival area. More details will be provided as the event approaches.

CAMPING AND ACCOMMODATIONS

Are campfires allowed?

Campfires are only permitted in the electric campground and must be contained in a fire ring. Firewood must be purchased on-site to prevent the spread of tree diseases.

Can I bring a generator?

Quiet generators are allowed in rustic RV sites but must be 6 or more feet away from the RV or any tent on the site. Generators are not allowed in tent sites.

Are showers available?

Yes, hot showers will be available for a small fee in multiple locations. RV campers are encouraged to use their own facilities to reduce wait times.

Are pets allowed?

Only service animals are permitted. Emotional support animals do not qualify under Michigan law.

When can I arrive?

Campers with Car/Tent campsites will be able to enter on Friday starting at 9:00 am unless an early entry pass for the campsite to arrive on Thursday between 4:00 and 10:00 pm is purchased. Campers in all RV sites will be able to enter Thursday between 4:00 and 10:00 pm.

FESTIVAL RULES

Can I bring my own alcohol?

Yes, attendees may bring their own alcohol, but no glass bottles or kegs are allowed. Security will confiscate any glass containers.

What items are prohibited?

Weapons, illegal substances, laser pointers, fireworks, golf carts (unless pre-registered for accessibility), drones, large shade structures, and excessively loud sound systems are not permitted.

What behavior will result in removal?

Underage drinking, fighting, disruptive behavior, or reckless actions will result in removal from the event without a refund.

RAIN OR CANCELLATIONS

What happens if it rains?

The festival will continue rain or shine. Performances will only be paused for severe weather, such as lightning.

What if an artist cancels?

If an artist is unable to perform, they will be replaced with another act. Tickets are non-refundable in the event of lineup changes.

Are tickets refundable?

Tickets are non-refundable unless the entire festival is canceled. Refunds will not be issued for weather, artist cancellations, or other schedule changes.
